I got this book hoping it would help me help my granddaughter. I'm a retiree and my own purpose was the last thing on my mind. However, as I started reading the book I realized how scattered my life was feeling - going from one chore to another, not having much of a plan, and feeling like I wasn't making the most of my retirement years. I followed the advice in the book and sorted my priorities, looked at when I am energized and not, and thought about when my tank is most fueled, I realized that my greatest satisfaction and greatest gift is nurturing connections - nurturing my marriage, building bridges in our family, meeting new cousins through my genealogy hobby, checking in with dear friends. Once that lightbulb went off, my whole attitude towards the day has changed - all for the better.
